TXEntre - The Stories of Texas Women and Minority Entrepreneurs is a project of the St. Edward's University School of Management and Business. Our objective is to capture and share the stories of Texas women and minority entrepreneurs in a series of web profiles, a set of interactive case studies, and entrepreneurial business simulations.
The vision for
TXEntre is to create an interactive learning space for women and minority entrepreneurs and to find role models and mentors for their entrepreneurial endeavors.
TXEntre will provide access to case studies and business simulations for use in training entrepreneurship classes and for community partnership training and activities.
TXEntre has been supported by a 2003 3M Vision grant and a 2005 Chase grant to create new templates for case studies including video, team role plays and online interactive simulations in the growing field of entrepreneurship education. Our case studies and simulations will be developed by St. Edward's University faculty and faculty-led teams of both graduate and undergraduate students. These teams are conducting the primary research with selected entrepreneurs, analyzing the technical and behavioral data, and designing the interactive cases and simulations.
